Description

Zinc oxide (ZnO) plays a vital role in current industry due to its special characteristics such as anti-corrosion, anti bacteria, low electrons conductivity and excellent heat resistance. Sol-gel method is the simplest and well established method for processing nano-particles. In addition, it has the ability to control the particle size and morphology through systematic monitoring of reaction parameters. In this study, we attempted synthesis of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nano-particles using sol-gel method and characterized obtained these nanostructures particles. ZnO nano-particles were synthesized using Zinc acetate dehydrate (Zn(CH3COO)2.2H2O) as a precursor and Ethanol (CH3COOH) as a solvent, while Ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) and distilled water were used as medium
