Coexisting structures in even-even Cd, Sn and Te nuclei
Description
Comprehensive spectroscopic studies of even-mass Cd, Sn and Te nuclei carried out within the Jyvaeskylae-Uppsala collaboration are reviewed. A special emphasis is put on the systematics of collective intruder states and the role of proton excitations across the Z = 50 gap in these states. Other types of coexisting structures observed at higher spins in Cd nuclei are also discussed. (orig.)
