Observation of the ion trapping phenomenon with bremsstrahlung

Description
The ion trapping phenomenon was studied at the Photon Factory storage ring. The accumulating process of ions in the electron beam orbit was directly observed by detecting bremsstrahlung from electron-ion collisions. (orig.)
