Application of electron-optical converter for investigation of noncylindrical Z-pinch

Description
Based on the frame recording of the own radiation of noncylindrical z-pinch by a single-cascade electron-optical converter with 200 and 15 ns time resolution, dynamics and structure of current envelope under discharges in deuterium and neon are studied. Registering was performed both in the radial direction and at the angle of 45 deg to the system axis. Discharge development initial phase, the phase of the envelope convergence to the axis and pinch distruction were pictured
