Monochromatic and polarized gamma ray beams for the study of few body interactions

The results of the LADON monochromatic and polarized photon beam at Frascati are presented. The future prospects of Ladon beams at other electron storage rings are discussed and some possible lines of research are suggested. (Auth.)
