Comprehensive vibration assessment program for reactor internals during preoperational and initial startup testing
Description
A method acceptable to the NRC staff for implementing the safety margin requirements with respect to the internals of light-water-cooled reactors during preoperational and initial startup testing is described. Inservice inspections and inservice monitoring programs to verify that the reactor internal components have not been subjected to structural degradation as a result of vibration during normal reactor operation are not covered by this guide.
