Combustible low level solidified waste processing method for radioactive waste oil
Description
Mineral oils such as abrasive oils, cutting oils and oils for rotational vacuum exhaust pump contaminated by radioactive materials are at first subjected to filtration under vacuum sucking to separate and remove particles of radioactive materials, into low level waste oils. Then, an oil solidifier is added to solidify them. With such procedures, solidified combustible solid wastes contaminated at low dosage are obtained. They are burnt in a incinerator, thereby enabling volume reduction treatment for the waste oils. (T.M.)
