Description
We have proposed a unified approach to the description of molecular states in a three-body system. The method is based on the old adiabatic idea of Born and Oppenheimer and in its present form looks like a modification of the hyperspherical adiabatic method. The proper choice of the coordinate system and the preliminary analytic analysis of the singularities of the problem are argued to be important for a further development of a powerful numerical procedure for solving the problem.
