Two-target continuous action ion mass-monochromator for investigations of medium-energy ion interaction with solids

Description
Ion-beam facility with up to 200 keV energy ions, with up to 10 mkA/cm2 ion current density at the target, 1-40 amu gaseous substance ion mass range and superhigh vacuum with target range was developed to study ion beam interaction with solid-state specimens. Facility is made on the basis of classical scheme of ion adacceleration up to the required energy after ion beam separation by masses. 6 refs.; 6 figs
