Starting from the structure of CANDU Reactor, this article introduces the zonal location of reactor power measurement and control equipment, the calculation and calibration of reactor power signal for RRS, zonal power control. Analyzing CANDU6 reactor power precise control mechanism from the power control equipment and reactor physics. Describing major design modification in TQNPP reactor power control system to improve the reliability and safety. (author)
