Energy dispersive microanalysis and thickness measurements for HTSC coatings

Description
Features of generating an X-ray spectrum from a thin YBa2Cu3O4 coating on a TiSrO3 substrate are studied and a relatively simple method for analysing and determining the coating thickness in such a system, which is quite precise and can be used for determining the homogeneity of composition and thickness of superconducting coatings when mastering the technology of their application, is proposed. 7 refs.; 3 figs.; 1 tab
