Solid solutions of palmierite type structure in SrO-La2O3-V2O5-GeO2 system

Description
Study of Sr3V2O8-Sr2LaVGeO2 and Sr2La0.67V2O8-Sr2LaVGeO8 systems permitted to determine in them existence of continuous solid solutions with palmierite structure. Substitution of smaller size lanthanum atoms for strontium ones results in decrease of C parameter, and increase of vacancies concentration is accompanied by increase of 'a' parameter
