Rare earth oleates
- 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Fiziko-Khimicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)
Description
By reacidation of dysprosium, ytterbium and samarium acetates oleates of the corresponding lanthanides have been prepared. It is shown that formates are less suitable for the purposes owing to their worse solubility. The greatest shift of the reacidation reaction equilibria to the side of lipophylic oleate is attained when DMSO is used as a solvent. All the compounds prepared are characterized by the data of element analysis and IR spectroscopy
