Vibrations and static stability of three-layered magnetostrictive plates under the action of magnetic field

Description
The issues of vibrations and static stability of three-layered magnetostrictive ferromagnetic plates in constant transversal magnetic field are studied. Having solved the certain problem it is established, that due to the magnetostrictive properties of plate material it is possible the loss of static stability of the plate under the action of transversal constant magnetic field. And also with the help of magnetic field it is possible to change essentially the value of the frequency of natural vibrations of the plate. The influence of heterogeneity of the plate on the examined processes is also studied
