Oxygen gas injection device

Description

The device of the present invention shortens the time from the startup of a condensate system to actual injection to the system in a nuclear power plant. That is, a flow rate control valve in the oxygen gas injection device is compulsorily opened upon startup of the device. Oxygen gas is compulsorily injected to the injection pipeline. A method of compulsorily opening the flow rate control valve includes a method of measuring the pressure on the downstream of the flow rate control valve and opening it when it is lower than a predetermined pressure and a method of opening it compulsorily during a predetermined period of time by a timer. With such a constitution, the flow rate of the oxygen gas to the injection pipe is increased. Accordingly, the uprising speed in the pipeline is increased, thereby enabling to inject oxygen into the condensate system in a short period of time. (I.S.)
