Exchange interaction between an atom and a multicharged ion

An analytic expression is obtained for the energy of exchange interaction between an atom and multicharged ion. The calculations are carried out in the quasiclassical approach for large distances between the nuclei of the colliding partners. It is shown that in the case of interaction with a multicharged ion, two distance ranges between the partners may be singled out in which the exchange potential is described by two different functions of R
