On hydrogen electron orbits in homogeneous electric field

Description
Stark linear effect in hydrogen atom is investigated within the framework of the known quantum theory with the use of equation of electron motion in orbital variables. A new form of solution, in contrast to the known one in parabolic coordinates, permits a simple geometrical interpretation, namely: the disturbing effect of uniform electric field leads (in the first approximation) to slow requlation of electron orbit precession (complying with one additional condition) with respect to field direction
