Excited states of a 24Mg nucleus in the electrodisintegration region

Description
An investigation of the electrodisintegration of 24Mg for small momentum transfers, ipitial energies of electrons from 120 to 231.5 MeV and scattering angles of 36-110 deg is made. Separation of the form factors of a nucleus into longitudinal and transverse is made. The 24Mg states for excitation energies of 27 and 43-50 MeV have been found. An analysis is presented, which permits the deduction to be made of the excitation not of a group of nearby, long-lived states, but states with a large inherent energy width
