Description
Thermodynamic properties of liquid alloys of the sodium-cesium-mercury system are studied by the e.m.f. method with solid electrolyte in the 500-780 K range for three radial cross sections of the concentration triangle with the constant cesium/mercury ratio equalling 4:1, 1:1, 1:4 and change of sodium concentration from 0.1 to 0.8 mol. parts. The conclusion is made that concentration dependence of sodium, cesium and mercury activities, negative values of integral enthalpy and excessive entropy prove the presence of interaction between components of the melt analogous to that in binary boundary sodium-mercury systems
