Investigation of antiferromagnetic superstructures in rare-earth compounds
Description
In this thesis, we present experimental studies of antiferromagnetic superstructures in rare-earth materials by means of single-crystal neutron diffraction. In the compounds HoCu, TmCu, ErCu, and EuPtSi complex magnet phase diagrams with multitudinous magnetic ground states are reported. Signatures of multi-k ground states with long-wavelength modulations and of ground states with nontrivial topology are observed.
