Measurement of vector and tensor analyzing powers in the d(pol)+3He three-body break-up

Description
The vector analyzing power Asub(y) and the two tensor analyzing powers Asub(yy) and Asub(xx) have been measured for the three-body break-up reactions d(pol)+3He→p+3He+n and d(pol)+3He→p+t+p. Two of the outgoing particles were identified and detected in coincidence at thetasub(lab) = +-300. The deuteron bombarding energy was Esub(d) = 15 MeV. The measurements are backed up by a series of tests in order to prove the absence of false asymmetries. (Auth.)
