Ruthenocene-amphetamine analogues as radiodiagnostics: Brain affinity of 103Ru-labelled ruthenocenyl-isopropylamine
Description
N-alkyl derivatives of 1-ruthenocenyl-2-amino-propan (Rc-amphetamine) were labelled with 103Ru and their organ distributions were measured in mice and rats. All Rc-amphetamines showed a high affinity for brain and lung. A concentration ratio brain/blood up to 17:1 and lung/blood up to 80:1 was measured. The advantages of 97Ru labelled Rc-amphetamine compared to 123J labelled amphetamine for measurement of regional cerebral blood flow are discussed. (orig.)

Verschiedene N-alkyl-Derivate des 1-Ruthenocenyl-2-amino-propan (Rc-Amphetamin), einem Analogon des Amphetamins, wurden mit radioaktivem Ruthenium markiert und die Organverteilung bei Maeusen und Ratten gemessen. Nach i.v. Injektion zeigten alle Rc-Amphetaminderivate einen schnellen Einstrom in das Gehirn und die Lunge. Der Quotient der Radioaktivitaetskonzentration Gehirn/Blut lag maximal bei 17:1 und Lunge/Blut bei 80:1. Auf die Vorteile von 97Ru-markiertem Rc-Amphetamin im Vergleich zu 123J-markierten Amphetaminderivaten bei der Bestimmung der Gehirndurchblutung wird hingewiesen. (orig.)Additional details
