Technique of noncontact measuring of mean bear current at the 300 MeV electron linear accelerator

Description

Continuous control over the value of the mean beam current at the linear electron accelerator LUEh-300 is performed by the integration of current pulses outgoing from the outlets of magnetic induction transducers, established behind the injector at the smaller outlet, at the direct outlet and after the system of parallel beam transfer. Circuits with small inlet resistance with transistors switched on according to the diagram with the common base are used as preamplifiers; for the increase in the gain of the latter transducer the circuit of single-thread transformer with the dynamic increase of its inductiveness is used. The gain for pulsed current for the two first transducers is 5 and 20 V/A, for the latter - 200 V/A. The upper limits of measured mean currents are 100, 15 and 1.5 μA, respectively with on-off time ratio of 104. The integration is done by a specially designed current integrator
