Multi-chain model for high energy hadron nucleus collisions
- 1. Kyushu Univ., Fukuoka (Japan). Dept. of Physics
Description
We investigate hadron nucleus collisions based on multi-chain model in which independent multi-peripheral chains connect the beam particle with each nucleon inside the nucleus. We formulate the model imposing the kinematical constraints in a transparent way. A few variations of the model are studied concerning partition of beam energy among chains, with similar results of charged particle distribution which are in agreement with experiment except for the very low rapidity region.
