Description
Radiation pion capture by light nuclei on the basis of a unified theory of direct and resonance processes is discussed. In the framework of the particle-hole variant of the shell model with continuum calculated are the spectrum of hard γ-quanta and the angular γn-correlation in the 16O(π, γn)15N reaction. The 1p-1h state basis is too poor for the quantitative description of the transformations in 16O. The calculated photon spectrum is but in a qualitative agreement with the experiment
