Theoretical treatment of the dynamics of metabolic processes in the life sciences
Creators
Description
A survey is given about the theoretical treatment of the dynamics of metabolic processes in the life sciences. With the help of different models (schematic, physical, mathematical) the principle of modelling is demonstrated. The use of models in the field of 15N tracer applications is discussed, especially in the transformation of nitrogen in the soil. (author)
