High psub(t) evidence in several cosmic ray interactions of the ultra-high energy
- 1. Institute of Nuclear Physics, Krakow (Poland)
Description
In a thick lead X-ray film emulsion chamber of the Experiment Pamir, 8 ultra-high energy photon and hadron families (<ΣE(γ)>=258 TeV) were detected. The compound lateral characteristics for photon families indicate the existence of two groups of particles which have different average transverse momenta. A quite well visible azimuthal asymmetry in the number and transverse momenta values of produced particles is observed. It seems that these characteristics can not be explained with hard scattering parton model
