Description
Small-angle X-ray investigations of smectic-nematic phase transition in a comb-like liquid crystalline polymer are performed. It has been demonstrated that the critical indices for compressibility and correlation length are 1.38 and 0.68 which corresponds to the predictions of the fluctuation theory of phase transitions.
