Description

The goundwaters of South Dobrogea (SD), both those of the Sarmatian (Sa) limestone aquifer and especially those of the regional Imestone-karstic Barremian-Jurassic (B-J) aquifer, have a special economic significance, representing the country's greatest hydrostructure with fresh water. Analysis of 18O in water samples and 15N and 18O in nitrates have been carried out to understand the hydrogeology of the B-J aquifer. 4 refs, 2 figs
