Description
American National Standards Institute/American Nuclear Society (ANSI/ANS) 8.20-1991, Nuclear Criticality Safety Training, was developed as a guide to ensure safe operations. The standard provides criteria for nuclear criticality safety training for personnel associated with operations outside of reactors where a potential exists for criticality accidents. The objective of the standard is to codify the essential requirements and the basic characteristics of an effective nuclear criticality safety training program.
