Now for later. Energy Report 2005
Description
The 2002 Energy Report focused on the market for energy and the deregulation process. Present problems concern the security of the energy supply and climatic change. In the first chapter of this 2005 report attention is paid to the long-term developments and indicates the urgency of supply security and the quality of the environment. The second chapter deals with the ambitions and targets and the role of the Dutch government with regard to those issues. Chapter three gives an overview of the agenda for energy policy and the points of action in the upcoming years

Het Energierapport ging in 2002 nog in belangrijke mate over de markt en de liberalisering. Nu de liberalisering is afgerond, richt het kabinet zich vooral op de problemen rondom de voorzieningszekerheid van energie en het klimaatprobleem. Het eerste hoofdstuk schetst de ontwikkelingen op langere termijn en geeft de urgentie van zowel de voorzieningszekerheid als de milieukwaliteit aan. Het tweede hoofdstuk gaat in op de gestelde ambities en de rol van de overheid bij deze vraagstukken.
