Analysis of transients caused by control assembly ejection during full and 55% nominal power in selected conservative configurations of a WWER-440/213 NPP
Description
Processes caused by ejection of an off-center located control assembly in the 6th group of emergency and control assemblies from a depth of 125 cm from the bottom edge of the reactor core were analyzed. The initial configurations of the reactor core were chosen in accordance with the current and prospectively expected fuel configurations at the Dukovany nuclear power plant. The use of assemblies at a 3.6% enrichment and the replacement of the steel lattices by zirconium alloy lattices were taken into account. The DYN3D/M3 code was employed for the calculations. (M.D.)
