High resolution studies of (d,6Li) reactions on sd-shell nuclei

Description
The (d,6Li) reaction has been investigated on 242526Mg, 27Al and 28Si at an incident deuteron energy of 55 MeV, in order to study alpha-particle pick-up reactions on sd-shell nuclei. The data has not been fully analysed but general observations are mentioned. The energy spectra of the 27Al(d,6Li)23Na reaction and the angular distributions for transitions to some states in 20Ne, 22Ne and 24Mg are presented. (C.F.)
