Description
The use of foams for the decontamination of mechanical parts in the controlled zones of nuclear power plants (NPPs) is described. Operational experiments gave evidence of the feasibility of applying specifically designed foams to the decontamination of solid surfaces within NPPs. Very good properties in this respect were found for the foam generators PZ 18S. (author)
