Description
The author presents a brief review of 25 years of the use of neutron therapy. Advanced salivary gland tumours, prostatic adenocarcinomas, and soft-tissue and bone sarcomas have all been shown to respond well. There is some evidence that squamous carcinomas of the lung, melanomas and paranasal sinus tumours may also be good prospects for neutron therapy. (U.K.)
