Nuclear energy and the environment. 2. rev. ed.
Description
It is an undisputed fact that no technical installation can be operated without producing any effect on the environment at all, and that is also the case with a nuclear power station. Slight amounts of radioactive materials reach the environment through the air and through effluents. Even the emission of waste heat has its effect on the environment. On this subject, the article shows that when existing regulations are needed, there is no danger to the environment either from the slight emission of radioactive materials or from the waste heat produced by nuclear power stations. Abstract (German)
