Delayed supercritical process with temperature feedback at arbitrary initial power
Description
By using the analytical method, the delayed supercritical process of nuclear reactor with temperature feedback while inserting small step reactivity (ρ0 < β) is analyzed. The analytical expression of the relationship between reactivity and time is derived, and the variation curves of output power with time are obtained. The effects of the inserted step reactivity and initial power on the delayed supercritical process are analyzed and discussed. The results indicate that initial power of reactor can obviously influence the transient process. (authors)
