Description

Development of safety evaluation model on concept of the nuclear fusion reactor is thought to be a large problem on tritium, hitherto. Here was described on present state and future problem of safety evaluation model of the tritium exhausted to atmosphere and behavior analysis model constituting its base. Verification of models for behavior and dose evaluation of radioactive isotopes in the atmosphere is important for confirming reliability and improving accuracy of calculation results. For international collaborative research on such verification, ecosystem moving model verification project (BIOMOVS project) was conducted from 1986 to 1996. For the verification, two methods were used: One was mutual comparison between models due to standard model, and the other was comparison with experimental data. The former showed difference of about 10% in concentration in the simplest surface layer soil, and the latter OBT formation showed smaller estimated results than experimental results when exposed at night. Abstract (Japanese)
