Description
The Σ nuclear absorptive potential expressed in terms of the ΣN→ΛN conversion cross section is applied in calculating bound states of light Σ hypernuclei. The narrow states with positive energy are reproduced. The Pauli blocking and binding effects are discussed, and the importance of the experimental identifications of the ground states of Σ hypernuclei is pointed out. (author)
