Description

Results of experiments on studying the front and bulk capture of 70 GeV energy protons to the regime of channeling by bent silicon monocrystal at the IHEP accelerator are presented. Time-dependent features of the deflected particle number on the crystal rotation angle and of the intensity of a beam deflected by crystal are presented. A possibility of producing crystal channels for moderate intensity particle beam transport is demonstrated. 5 refs.; 2 figs.; 1 tab
