Synthesis and spectroscopic properties of halotellurite glasses formed in the AgCl-TeO2-WO3 system

Description
Two samples of halotellurite glasses of the AgCl-TeO2-WO3 system, containing 70 mol % TeO2 and 10 and 20 mol % AgCl, respectively, were synthesized. Influence of silver chloride on spectral properties of the glasses was studied by the method of IR spectroscopy. It was ascertained that the glasses studied are transparent both in visible and in the near-range IR regions of the spectrum. Abrupt decrease in transmission factors of the glasses to 15-25 % in the range of 3.0-3.5 μm was pointed out. Increase in silver chloride content involves a decrease in the absorption band intensity

Синтезированы два образца теллуритно-галогенидных стекол системы AgCl-TeO2-WO3, содержащие 70 мол. % TeO2 и соответственно 10 и 20 мол. % AgCl. Методом ИК-спектроскопии изучено влияние хлорида серебра на спектральные свойства изученных стекол. Установлено, что изученные стекла прозрачны как в видимой, так и в ближней ИК-областях спектра. Отмечено резкое снижение коэффициента пропускания этих стекол до 15-25 % в диапазоне 3.0-3.5 мкм. С увеличением содержания хлорида серебра интенсивность этой полосы поглощения уменьшаетсяAdditional details
