Description
Photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) monitoring the non-radiative deexcitation processes, is a powerful tool for investigating the absorption spectra in opaque and powder samples. The details of the experimental set up fabricated using a tungsten halogen lamp, 0.25 M monochromator and a PAS cell are given. The experimental results obtained on uranyl phophates belonging to torbernite group are also described. (author)
