Description

The reaction of sodium metavanadate with potassium xanthates and thioxanthates at pH 5-6 gives VO[S2C-OR]3 and VO[S2C-SR]3, respectively. The compounds with R = CH3 and C2H5 have been prepared and characterized by diverse methods. (author)
