Description
Nowadays, CBM system became more common method to reduce cost spent on destructive inspections. With CBM, we can reduce significant maintenance cost since we can judge the machine need to be destructed or not. We can also do premeditated inspections. CBM is very useful for tribological apparatus. Especially, oil analysis has much higher sensitivity and speed than other diagnostic method such as vibration, temperature and etc. At TRIBOTEX Co., Ltd., we diagnose several conditions of machine by using various lubricant oil analyses such as viscosity, degradation and etc. Even though oil analyses can detect some abnormalities in a machine in the early stage, we couldn't find preliminary troubles early enough since most of troubles in machine system occur within an hour or minute. We developed new device and special remote-diagnose software that can get quantitative and qualitative information from wear particles. The system uses internet and access to the diagnosis database that we established from a lot of cases with machine and experiences. In this paper, we show the explanation of the diagnosis utility in the state of machine equipment with our device. (author)
