Effect of bare structure and the growth conditions for cadmium sulfide monocrystals on the character of the formation and behaviour of small-angle boundaries

Description

Investigation of real structure of CdS monocrystals through the study of interorientation of units by the bar diametr (disorientation), as one of criteria to develop optimal technological conditions of growth from vapour phase to inoculation without contact with ampoule walls, is the aim of the work. Problem concerning the role of inoculation and furnace temperature field in the formation of crystallographic structure of growing crystal is considered to realize the effect of growth conditions on structure effiiency and preparation of more perfect monocrystals. The experiments have shown, that inoculation structure and growth conditions play essential role, whereupon resulting effect depends on the distance up to the inoculation. Shape of crystallization front, that is, isotherm in the furnace, is the main one at considerable distance
