Laser wiggler beat wave in a plasma

Description
In order to accelerate electrons, large amplitude plasma waves are set up. It is shown that using laser wiggler beating instead of beating between two lasers reduces the necessary laser intensity by several orders of magnitude. Saturation mechanisms are investigated. A comparison is made between the two kinds of beating
