Radioisotope renography in patients with chronic osteomyelitis

Patients with chronic osteomyelitis are proved to have a high sensitivity and informativity of renography with hyppuran - 131J in comparison with clinical biochemical tests revealing occult renal insufficiency. Found is the dependence of frequency and degree of renal insufficiency on duration and severity of osteomyelitic process, stage of the desease, form of osteomyelitis and methods of its treatment. The method of radioisotope renography gives the possibility to estimate correctly the danger of the running and the forecast of the disease, efficiency of the therapy application, to find out the indications to radical surgery treatment in time and complications of antibiotic therapy of chronic osteomyelitis
