Description

EKK (E.ON Kernkraft) has recruited a large number of engineers, most of them without nuclear engineering experience. For a sustainable plant safety and availability skilled and qualified personnel is required. Therefore EKK has launched a qualification guideline for education and training. The authors describe the training and qualification program, the seminars and workshops and the degrees that can be reached. The instructors are members of the staff of the different operating departments. The organizational aspects are covered by the EKK main office.
