Procedure for determining the distance of an aerial shot at from the orifice of the weapon
Description
The method is to determine the distance between fire-arm and the bullet entry point for criminalistic purposes. It uses the quantitative determination of antimony by irradiation of the latter with neutrons and autoradiographic pictures. The pictures are compared with standard pictures by using a printing technique with sticking foils. The method is free of interference. (DG)

Das Verfahren dient zur Bestimmung der Entfernung zwischen Schusswaffe und der Kugeleinschlagstelle fuer kriminalistische Zwecke. Es verwendet die quantitative Bestimmung von Antimon durch Bestrahlung derselben mit Neutronen und autoradiographischen Aufnahmen. Unter Benutzung einer Abzugstechnik mit Klebefolien werden die Aufnahmen mit Standardaufnahmen verglichen. Das Verfahren arbeitet zerstoerungsfrei. (DG)Files
