Description
In this paper the next-to-leading order inclusive jet cross section is calculated. At this order, one is first able to see the dependence of the cross section on the size of the cone used to define the jet. The calculated cross section has a much reduced dependence on the renormalization scale μ, indicating a reduced theoretical uncertainty compared to the Born calculation. A first comparison with experimental data is exhibited
